Lot In Quran / Islam (Chapters / Verses of Lot in Quran / Islam)

And Ismail (Ishmael) and Al-Yasa (Elisha), and Yoonus (Jonah) and Lout (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the Alameen (mankind and jinns) (of their times). (Quran 6:86)
And (remember) Lout (Lot), when he said to his people: "Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the Alameen (mankind and jinns)? (Quran 7:80)
"Verily, you practise your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (by committing great sins)." (Quran 7:81)
And the answer of his people was only that they said: "Drive them out of your town, these are indeed men who want to be pure (from sins)!" (Quran 7:82)
Then We saved him and his family, except his wife; she was of those who remained behind (in the torment). (Quran 7:83)
And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the Mujrimoon (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). (Quran 7:84)
But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lout (Lot)." (Quran 11:70)
They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you, O the family (of Ibraheem (Abraham)). Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious." (Quran 11:74)

And his people came rushing towards him, and since aforetime they used to commit crimes (sodomy, etc.), he said: "O my people! Here are my daughters (i.e. the daughters of my nation), they are purer for you (if you marry them lawfully). So fear Allah and degrade me not as regards my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?" (Quran 11:78)
They said: "Surely you know that we have neither any desire nor in need of your daughters, and indeed you know well what we want!" (Quran 11:79)
He said: "Would that I had strength (men) to overpower you, or that I could betake myself to some powerful support (to resist you)." (Quran 11:80)
They (Messengers) said: "O Lout (Lot)! Verily, we are the Messengers from your Lord! They shall not reach you! So travel with your family in a part of the night, and let not any of you look back, but your wife (will remain behind), verily, the punishment which will afflict them, will afflict her. Indeed, morning is their appointed time. Is not the morning near?" (Quran 11:81)
So when Our Commandment came, We turned (the towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down, and rained on them stones of baked clay, piled up; (Quran 11:82)

"Then travel in a part of the night with your family, and you go behind them in the rear, and let no one amongst you look back, but go on to where you are ordered." (Quran 15:65)

And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing (at the news of the young mens arrival). (Quran 15:67)
(Lout (Lot)) said: "Verily! these are my guests, so shame me not. (Quran 15:68)

(Lout (Lot)) said: "These (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so)." (Quran 15:71)
Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. (Quran 15:72)
And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the Alameen (mankind and jinns). (Quran 21:71)
And (remember) Lout (Lot), We gave him Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khabaith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient, to Allah). (Quran 21:74)
And the people of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the people of Lout (Lot), (Quran 22:43)

Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "But there is Lout (Lot) in it." (Quran 29:32)
